Unijuí is a regional community university recognized by the Ministry of Education and prominent in the scientific field. Its multi-campus structure, qualified professors, and several laboratories provide all the support needed for an excellent academic education.
The academic year for onsite courses runs from approximately mid-February to mid-December, with a 3 to 4-week vacation in July.
Applications and Enrollment: Interested students must submit the Application Form (Fomulário de Inscrição) and supporting documents to Unijui’s International Relations Office via email at eri@unijui.edu.br, observing the following deadlines:
● Applications for admission in the 1st semester (February – July): until October 15
● Applications for admission in the 2nd semester (August – December): until May 31

Foreign students who intend to complete a full undergraduate program at Unijuí must access the “Entrance Exam” section/tab.
For international candidates, enrollment must be completed in person after the student's arrival at the university.
Mobility Duration: A mobility student can study at Unijuí for up to two academic semesters.
Vacancies: Currently, there are no limitations on the number of slots, except those specified in bilateral agreements
Tuition Fees: Unijuí is a community-based, non-state university. Its students pay for their studies. However, under the current bilateral agreements signed between Unijuí and its foreign partner universities, exchange students are exempt from paying tuition fees.
Undergraduate Study Plan Selection: Select the desired course components here. Pay attention to the campus and the time of day (morning, afternoon, or evening) in which the courses are offered.
Scholarships:
PEC-G / PEC-PG: Applicants from African and Latin American countries can apply for scholarships through the Program for Exchange Students at the Brazilian embassy in their home country. Please check out the regulations:
Move la América: It’s a program by the Brazilian Federal Agency for Support and Evaluation of Graduate Education (CAPES). It offers scholarships to graduate students from higher education and research institutions in Latin America and the Caribbean to undertake sandwich master's or doctoral internships in Brazil.

Student Visa: Brazilian legislation strictly requires that foreign students must only be enrolled in Brazilian universities if they hold a valid student visa. This visa must be requested at the Brazilian embassy or consulate in the closest student’s place of residence in their home country.
Accommodation: Unijuí offers UNICASA, a shared housing facility for university students. Depending on availability, spots are offered to both exchange and regular foreign students. Please check with the International Relations Office (ERI) about availability when submitting your application.
