Grade 5History and Proposal of the Program
The program aims to develop research and knowledge production in the education field which can contribute to the training of educators, the development of curriculum and the management of the education system. In addition, the program seeks to investigate the forms of organization and purposes of educational institutions and activities in contemporary societies, such as social movements and cooperative organizations. The program has been accredited by the Brazilian Federal Agency for Support and Evaluation of Graduate Education/Ministry of Education since 1995, offering an academic Master’s degree and since 2009, offering a Doctoral degree.
Target Audiences
The program is intended for individuals with a bachelor's degree applying to the Master's program, and those with a Master's degree applying to the Doctoral program, and those who have an interest in the Education field.
